Reviewjust had a lovely week in walton, visited a few pubs but definately best by miles is The Bath House-modernly done up,warm(was a trifle chilly out),lovely staff(especially Simon and Martin),good food and very reasonable prices(cheapest in walton)-we were made to feel like regulars and they even went out especially and got our preferred drink-which they didnt normally stock-add to that a great juke box, darts nite9with free chilli) and kareoke and all in all was top class! well done!! look forward to return next year xx

ReviewNot enough good words in the English dictionary to say about this Fantastic Pub/Restaurant. Let's start from the beginning. My first experience of The Bath House was some 3 years ago, and was outstanding back then and even more so now. For a locals pub (I'm not a local I'm from Basildon) everyone makes u feel welcome all the locals and barstaff talk to you and make it a very homely place to be. I always make sure I go to The BathHouse when in the local area. Outstanding value for money on food, I mean where else can you find A massive steak burger and chips (not for the faint hearted) for about £6.00 and having the reassurance that the proprietor is a chef, not only that the chef he employs caters for your every need with no complaints, and is also the best chef in Essex, my wife has the seafood cocktail on a bed of fresh salad which always goes down a treat and this is for little over a £5. Some people may be put off because the price and may take the impression "Cheap & Cheerful" well the only true statement of this is "Cheap" but Dave & Lenny's menu is designed to give you the best food without ripping you off, and they do this just superbly. As for the drinks Monday - Friday £2.00 a pint day & night (selected drinks) is outstanding. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone at The Bath House for making every visit a pleasant, friendly and superb Culinry experience. Adam & Sherry

ReviewI appolgize to claire Curtis again for this mishap over the Jacket potatoe, please again except my appolgies for not telling you we had run out of jackets, as the kitchen at the time of service was very busy, it was my fault for not telling the staff straight away when the order was with us, hence the option of a discount.... ( only small ) As i said, the jacket is an accompaniment hence why it was only part of the price of the meal ....Not a price for a meal of a jacket with fillings and salad, for exemple. So the option of chips at the time was the only thing i could offer you... or discount. As for the rest of your party at the time seemed happy and fulfilled with all their meals ordered i can only again say sorry for getting on the wrong side of yours, we are at the end of the day only human, and mistakes are made, thank the lord i don't work in a nuclear reactor plant ,,,... Hay!!!! yours regretably D. Green Proprietor... P.s I do take this serously Claire,

ReviewThis is by far the best pub in Walton on the naze and probably for at least a fifty mile radius . The bar staff are very kind and polite , very friendly and are down to earth . I had an absolutely fantastic time with memories i will cherish . The lager is still only £2 a pint :o) and the service and cheerful atmosphere ...priceless !!! 10/10 ...I would recommend this experience to anyone !!!

ReviewThe pub may be pleasent enough for a quick drink, but if you are looking to eat I would give it a wide berth. I visited yesterday with my husband and ordered Pasta bake and a jacket potato. My meal arrived as Pasta Bake, chips and onion rings. When I siad to the waitress I had ordered the Jacket Potato she informed me they had run out the day before! They did not tell me this when ordering and did not come over to me and ask if I would like chips,or any other option, like mash! I explained to the waitress I did not want chips and although she was Polite she could not understand why I was complaining, I asked if I would get some monay back as I would not be eaiting the chips, she said I could have a £1 as that is how much they charge for a Jacket potato. I have had a lot of pub lunches and would love to know where I can buy a jacket potato for a pound, but I took the pound. The waitress then came over again to inform me that the chef would like to assure me that a potion of chips is the same as a jacket potato!! I tried to explain this isn't the case when you are on a low fat diet but she was having none of it!! also if they are the same how come I did not get £1.60 back which is the price of chips!!! Was totally disappointed by the whole experience and service received!
