The Westcroft, Droitwich

Wasn't open when we tried at 1 on a Wednesday but it was open later. Decent Wye Valley HPA. Not far from the station.

Solid-looking side-street pub with a partly opened-out and semi-modernised interior. Not exactly over-endowed with furniture at the front, but this is probably explained by the various music events held. Further back, a pool table can be found in a brightly-lit rear area. I wasn't expecting any real ale here, so was pleasantly surprised to find Wye Valley Butty Bach (£3.00) available from one of the two handpumps, and this was in fine shape too.

A traditional Victorian pub, situated on a quiet side street. The interior was a big disappointment, as it has all been knocked through into one modern open space, with the original bar gone and replaced with a small bar area made from ash on the left hand side. The customers and management weren't welcoming, no real ale served here.
