The George Inn, Barton-Upon-Humber

What a hole...the place was disgusting. It was very unclean,very dated & stank of stale cigarettes as smoking is somehow permitted inside?? Locals referred to it as the place 'where you hope you dont catch anything' & we avoided eating there at all costs!! The rooms are filthy- the curtains were black & the location is very noisy with lots of passing traffic. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned & the ceiling seemed to be collapsing. I'd rather sleep in my car !!

Avoid this place at all costs. It looks absolutely filthy and if there is anyone in the place at all the chances are they are very drunk.
