Red Lion, Wisbech

The Red Lion is a decent looking pub and the sort of pub i like going into which is situated in a nice location overlooking the river Nene. This pub is an Elgoods tied house and is the closest Elgoods house to the brewery so it could be classed as the brewery tap. Once inside i went in a smart room that was very comfortable and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Elgoods Black Dog mild and this was a really nice drink the other beers were Elgoods Cambridge bitter and Golden Newt. I thought this was a really nice pub and would have happily stayed longer if not on a pub crawl. Pub visited 2/8/2000
