The Ram, Norwich

Used to be a reasonable pub but Now inundated with youngsters and the females screeching.. No place for a peaceful pint anymore. One has to put up with a continuous stream of people walking backwards and forward through the bar so they can get to the smoking area. May 2017.

Fairly plain-looking pub, with (1960s?) front and side extensions, under threat of closure and conversion to a Tesco Express. The interior retains a two-bar layout and has a certain dated charm. Nice spot to sit in the front bay alcove in the lounge. Pool table in public bar. Beer garden to rear, with a children's' play area. Friendly welcome. Just Greene King IPA (£3.35) available from three handpumps. This one would be a major loss to the community, so let's hope it survives...
