This place isn't up to much and I had to wait for an age at the bar as the bloke standing behind it eating a bag of crisps wouldn't serve me as he was not working. Maybe he wasn’t, but surely someone should have been ready to sell me a pint. The few locals sitting around the bar were friendly with a strange oddness about them – the sort that would drink in a late bar type venue in the afternoon. There are no hand pumps leaving only a basic selection of draught, but my pint was good when I finally received it from the governor who seemed like a very friendly bloke. I still can’t see myself returning here though.

Now closed. Apparently it's going to be a mosque. [Admin edit: Marked as closed 4/3/10]
