Cape of Good Hope, Regents Park, NW1

The Cape of Good Hope is a basic pub that is split into a front and back bar. At the front there is a plasma screen with a couple of sofas to the right of the entrance and to the left there is a dartboard and a test your strength boxing machine. The back bar is larger and houses a pool table and another plasma screen that was showing muted rolling news. The only other customer was putting his hard unearned into the fruit machine that is also found in the back bar. The décor is very sparse and the only things I spotted on the walls were a couple of framed Arsenal shirts. The bar maid was friendly enough and the draught selection basic with no hint of ale. I found this place to be charmless and I do not plan to return.
