This May Bank Holiday weekend, the 22nd through 25th, sees the second annual Cornish Real Ale and Cyder Festival at The Thirsty Scholar in Penryn. Following the success of last year's event, there will again be some 20 Cornish ales on offer, all at only £3 per pint and a selection of the very best local ciders (prices vary).There will also be live entertainment (details to follow), a Boule competition in our sunny, sheltered beer garden, plus a table football tournament! We will be serving lunch and supper every day in addition to an all day service of local pasties, to include Mylor Butcher's Steak Pasties and our own world famous Crab Pasties!

Come and enjoy a warm welcome in the historic ambience of one of the County's oldest pubs, together with delicious food, wonderful Ales and Ciders - and great company!
