Well of the beaten track but quite a surprise. Next to the canal on a country road in the middle of nowhere. Single roomed. Lunch time and packed out with pensioners - and they always no where the bargains are to be had. Three real ales on - E... [more>]

Called in this 2019 Good Beer Guide pub a couple of days ago and enjoyed the Banks Amber and Sunbeam. There is a large bar at the front and a smaller lounge at the rear.
