A former coaching inn built from hamstone from the nearby Ham Hill quarry, this pub is moribund. It doesn’t have its own car park but there is a free public car park a few yards up the hill. You enter through the old coach gate, which is unsigned a... [more>] |

Above average country pub with a good welcome and efficient service. Always got a range of decent ales on stillage, so many Brownie points for that. On the downside, far too many of my two pub dislikes - screaming kids and wet dogs. |
