Traditional village pub retaining a 'lounge' that is more of the main bar and the separate two-part bar / dining room. Also has a sizeable rear beer garden, all doing very well on a fine summer day. Disappointingly, just on real ale available from ... [more>] |

Pubs are about more than beer! Great food from Chez Sophie a warm fire on a winters night and a hearty knowledgeable crew to welcome locals and wanderers alike. Only reason I don't give it a 10 is so not too many others find it. |
