The Crooked Billet is the only Hook pub that has appeared in any of the last 6 Good Beer Guides, but the real ale choice here can prove somewhat of a disappointment. Doom Bar is the regular ale, whilst guests on my visit were Tribute & Landlord. A s... [more>] |

A large pub close to the station with a hotel and function suite behind. The main pub part has been refurbished in typical corporate style, with pale blue/grey walls, odd patches of brickwork and TV screens in all directions. Friendly enough but not ... [more>] |
