Refurbished again this winter but much the same as when JAQPTIO called. The space for drinkers has increased, sadly by adding posing tables, but there's more normal seating too, perhaps reflecting the downturn in casual dining. The best bit remains... [more>]

As described below this is a large "food" pub next to Hatton Locks. Well worth the walk up from the canal. 5 ales on when I called including Church Farm Harry's Heifer, Old Hooky, Purity Ubu and Mad Goose. The local Church Farm beer was excellent. I ... [more>]
