Recently refurbished (summer 09) Thwaites local. Usually has cask bitter and mild available. There is a snooker table and an outside drinking area.

This pub was originally called The Bay Horse but now bears as its official name what was a nickname locally for thirty years. It came about because the licensee Alfred Pomfret invariably wore clogs and a billycock hat.The pub has recently re-opened, ... [more>]
